Darren Howarth and Anje Nortje, the owners of the famous ‘Groundhouse’ earthship that was showcased on Grand Designs, have released a book about their home.
In keeping with the spirit of the Earthship concept, the book is both about the dwelling they live in and the lovely food that nourished the team that worked on the build. Its clear that the social opportunity that the meals afforded the team working on the Groundhouse were a strong part of building the community alongside the building.
We have had one of our supporters commission an Earthship NZ Zinger Shake drink which we will post the receipe for here soon. Another great excuse for people to come together and share a meal, a drink and a conversation about Earthships in NZ.
