Earthships for all seasons, all climates
I thought I would share this video of Earthship owner, Errol Francis and family walking you through their greywater-planter garden inside their earthship. These guys lives near Ottawa and its amazing to think the annual snowfall is over 2.3 metres, with an average daytime temperature in January of -10 degrees celcius! Yet there it is before your eyes; tomatoes, cucumbers and pineapples all growing inside an Earthship. Yes it is possible.
Wow man this is so amazing! I’m figuring out the in’s and out’s doing this here in Alberta. Did you hit any real problems with red tape doing this?
