Earthship New Zealand

Hi there Rob, my name is Callum McLeary I am a New Zealander living in Revelstoke BC Canada. I was more than excited to find your Earthship site. My partner Theresa (bike mechanic) and I (builder) have been interested in, and actively researching Earthships/Off grid living for about a year now. Just last month we made the 1600km trek down to the Earthship Montana site to meet with the crew, work and learn. Next month we are going to Darfield BC where the Newton family are almost finished pounding tires for their own Earthship. The experience gained this summer already has been most valuable, as we found in Montana and Earthship is not that complicated to build and can be constructed quite quickly providing you have the people power on hand to do it. We intend to build an Earthship (of some design) of our own, and think New Zealand is a perfect location for this type of housing. Please let us know if we can help in any way.
